The International Rosetta Skyrace is my next short-term goal.
During training it is always important to have short-term goals: it helps concentration and motivation. Being a mother also means setting up my work and family responsibilities in the training plan. I often train with the stroller and my daughter Sofie seems to have a lot of fun.
The entire Skyrace winds its way on a very suggestive route of 22.4 km and 1740 D + in the Orobie Park, about 2 hours from St. Moritz. The highest point of the race is Pizzo Galli with 2,217 meters. From the Pizzo Galli (admiring the panorama is a must) you descend to the upper part of the Alpe Culino and then go to the top of the Rosetta at 2,150 meters.
The first three men and the first three women crossing the summit will receive an award and recognition, as well as for the first man and woman that will pass the sixth kilometer from Casera Vegia.
The International Rosetta Skyrace will take place on Sunday, September 2, 2018 and is included in the national calendar of CSEN / CONI and part of the FSA / FISKY route. It is also the last trail of the La Sportiva Mountain Running Cup. Start and end point is Rasura. Registration is possible until the 30th of August.
Me and my family will be at the event. I am honored to be able to race the final race of the La Sportiva Mountain Running Cup. My family will then wait for me at arrival.
Sure it will be hard because of the important difference in altitude, but it will certainly be an unforgettable journey. I will meet many friends along the way and will also able to enjoy a breathtaking view. Everything will be positively remembered for sure.
See you on September, 2nd 2018!
